    Pic of the Day

    Christmas Came Early (Late)

I bought these wheels in October to replace the RSs, which have gone up to Canada, but they just now arrived. They came from a guy stationed in the Air Force in Germany, and apparently were returned to their sender once before they made their way to Baltimore.  It took awhile to track down a staggered/forged set (17x8/9), but I ended up finding em for a steal. They'll be tucked away in the basement until I find some time to start refurbing them, along with my other winter projects.

On the list will be a sand blasting down to bare metal and subsequent powder-coating to stock silver for both the wheels and turbine covers. I need to source a few new plastic parts for the covers, too. I'm thinking the throwing star covers will be for put up for sale soon. I'll end up grabbing some Adaptec 4x100 > 5x120 adapters at some point and some new rubber as well. I'm going with chunkier tires this time around too, stay tuned...

    The Eagle Has Landed!

We're really excited to announce that 8380 is now officially international!

We've joined forces with the guys at JSRaid, respected members of the UK car community for years and manufacturers of the well-known Ramair High-Performance Air Filters. In addition to manufacturing the Ramair Filters and being the UK's exclusive Jamex dealer, they've added one more title to the list: Exclusive UK Dealer for 8380 products!

As of this week, four designs are available for purchase. As we continue to get operations geared up, the design selection will increase and we'll be adding some other 8380 merchandise.

Shipping to Europe and beyond has become increasingly difficult as postage costs have continued to rise dramatically. We realize this is a limiting factor for everyone outside of North America who is interested in 8380 apparel. We're extremely excited about this partnership with JSRaid because it effectively serves two purposes: it gives new access to people who were interested in 8380 before but found the shipping costs prohibitive, and it also opens 8380 up to an entirely new market as we continue to grow and expand.

We'll still be offering international shipping through this site, but I'll be updating the international shipping FAQs to reflect this new arrangement. There will be a lot of overlap in the designs that will be available here and through JSRaid, but there will also be some US and UK exclusive designs and products.

We'll keep you posted on this and several other new product-related announcements beginning early 2011!
