Detailed Attention
Detailed Attention is a high-end automotive detailing company in Frederick, MD, and one of 8380's best design clients. I've been working with owner Ryan Dowski to develop a logo identity and branding materials for the business. As the owner of a 21-year-old, single-stage black car with a lot of original paint, my lack of paint care knowledge left me with a car desperately in need of Detailed Attention's services. The timing was perfect - I'd get the car detailed just in time to tuck it away for the winter. Unearthing the car in March as clean as it's even been will be like Christmas day.
I dropped the car off with Ryan on a Friday night in October and let him work his magic. I was excited to see what he'd be able to get out of my old paint, and I was not disappointed when I picked the car up on Sunday. What I thought would be a standard paint correction ended up being a full detail of the exterior trim, wheels/tires and windows. The engine bay received a full cleaning and detail as well. That alone was worth the price of admission, since I'm too lazy to bother with it myself. It didn't even look like the same car, the change was pretty incredible. Virtually all the fine scratches and swirls were gone from the paint, and the reflection was deep and clear. It also smelled (?!) awesome...I was about ready to knock out the front door of my house and park the car inside at that point. SOLD!
He even took time to document the process so he could show me what was done. This was the first time I've ever had a car detailed, and it will not be the last. Leaving your paint in the care of a pro like Ryan is a no-brainer, especially since a thorough detail like this will last at least a year if you take care of it. If you're interested in an interior or exterior detail (or anything in between, a wide range of services is offered), give Ryan at Detailed Attention a call (three-oh-one-678-nine-oh-five-one). We spend a lot of time making our cars look good, but often neglect the paint - this is cheap insurance.
A few highlights of the process, and unfortunately (my fault) a little light on the end product shots.
