This is a pretty straightforward install; basically what you will be doing is taking the wiper assembly out of the car, removing the two pieces for the driver's side wiper (which you no longer need) and swapping the two new modified pieces in place of the stock linkage on the passenger side. 

Step 1 - Remove Rain Tray  

Once removed, you will see the wiper assembly sitting down in the cowl area like this:

Step 2 - Remove Wiper Arms and Assembly 

Remove the plastic caps at the base of the wiper arms to access the nuts that hold them to the wiper assembly.  The arms themselves can be hard to get off even once the nut is removed, be patient and use gentle pressure to pry them off the base. 

Once the arms are off, you can remove the entire linkage/motor assembly from the car with 3 bolts. 

Your stock linkage assembly will look like this (bottom):

Step 3 - Remove Stock Linkage Pieces

Next, take out the stock linkage pieces marked with an X:

You'll first need to remove the longer linkage bars from the assembly, one of which is seen in the picture above.  At the top right end you can see it pops over a little ball on the end of the linkage piece bolted to the motor.  We've found it's easiest just to give the ends a light hit with the heavy end of a screwdriver to get them to pop off. It might take a minute to figure out the best way to do it, but once you do it's very easy.  BE SURE NOT TO HIT THEM TOO HARD OR YOU WILL BEND THEM.

To remove the gold-colored linkage pieces at either end (the pieces that the wiper arms bolt to) you'll need to carefully remove a circlip on the top side (the side facing down to the ground in our pics).  After that circlip is removed, the linkage pieces will slide right through the main assembly, and out.

Step 3a - Installing/Indexing the Modified Linkage Piece Attached to the Motor - Pictured Above

Once both the longer, stamped bar pieces are completely removed, you can unbolt the small linkage piece attached to the motor and directly replace it with our modified piece.  It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you index this piece exactly like the picture above. It will probably take a bit of trial and error.  If it is not indexed properly, the sweep of the wiper will not be correct. This can result in the wiper sweeping in the wrong direction or even breakage of the system.  Before you bolt the wiper arm onto the linkage, turn on the wipers and watch the splined shaft to make sure it is stopping at the end of its counter-clockwise rotation and coming right back in the clockwise direction.  Once you are sure it's okay, you can install the wiper arm.

Step 4 - Replacing the Other Stock Pieces with Our Modified Pieces 

The hard work is now pretty much done.  Remove the included circlip from our modified piece, and slide the linkage through the assembly on the left/passenger side. Once it's through, replace the circlip so it stays in place.  Reinstall one of the stamped linkage bars back onto the balls that are on the ends of both the new linkage pieces, so they are joined together as seen in the picture below.

Your new modified assembly should look like the top one (minus the one gold linkage piece on the right side as pictured):

It should be assembled in exactly the same way as stock, minus the parts we removed. 

Step 5 - Reinstallation

The modified assembly goes back into the car in the exact opposite way you removed it.

Step 6 - Indexing the Wiper Arm 

Install the supplied wiper blade onto the modified arm.  Mount the arm back onto the base, and make sure the left side of the blade is laying down right on the edge of your rain tray molding.  Reinstall the nut that holds the wiper arm in place.  This placement will ensure the wiper arm has the proper sweep, and will stop about 1" short of the molding on the driver's side.
